Kalen left the girls and I in the car while he ran inside McDonalds to check out a movie from the Redbox.

Kalen turns 30

Well, it was bound to happen and happen it did. Kalen is officially in his 30's. He always tells me that he is "amazing." I will say something like "Thank you so much for fixing that. How did you know how to do that?" and he will say something like, "That's what I do Marianne, I am amazing." Now, if you know Kalen's sense of humor at all, you know that he is never serious.

For Kalen's birthday, we had a pre-surprise party for him on his birthday...which was pretty lame. 2 days later, we had a real surprise party for him. The pre-surprise was to fool him...but he is way too smart for me. He could smell it in the air...he totally knew what I was doing.

Anyways, what he didn't know was that I ordered shirts for everyone to wear with this image across the chest. Of course I got him one too and it is his favorite shirt:)

Christmas in NYC

We had the opportunity to spend Christmas in New York with Amy, Bridger, and Sawyer! We had such a great time. It was so nice for our families to get together for Christmas. Here are a few other highlights...
