Sophia came into this world and joined our family on May 1, 2009. She weighed in at 7lbs 12 oz and 19 inches long. She had a nice head of hair and she was a very healthy and happy baby! We feel so blessed. A few hours after Sophia was born, mom had a tricky time with recovery due to hemorrhaging and the possibility of having a blood transfusion. Luckily it didn't get to that point. It was scary for mom, but she recovered very quickly.
